Hybrid – covering M25 & M4 Corridor
£70,000 - £75,000 Basic plus Car Allowance + Business Mileage + Team Performance Bonus (up to 20%) + Group Bundled Benefits
On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Facilities Management provider specialising in hard services, with a strong track record across the private sector. As part of their ambitious growth strategy, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand their client portfolio, secure profitable contracts, and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
With a strong presence across the South East, this business continues to grow as a respected name within the hard services sector. As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities, using your proactive, hunter mindset and consultative sales approach. This role is ideal for a hands-on salesperson who thrives in a collaborative team environment, enjoys building lasting relationships, and is motivated by success and high earning potential.
Key Duties:
* Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
* Manage your own sales pipeline and take ownership of revenue targets
* Generate and follow up leads, delivering compelling bids and proposals
* Build relationships with facilities managers, agents, and end users
* Negotiate and close deals at both operational and board level
* Conduct site surveys and prepare asset schedules in partnership with our Estimating Team
* Prepare and present proposals and tender submissions.
Experience Required:
* Experienced in business development and solution sales
* Understanding of the technical facilities management / m&e / building services market
* Willing to travel in and around the M25 & along the M4
* Commutable to the Slough office when needed
