Due to national growth, we are now recruiting for a proactive Business Development Manager to join a busy Edinburgh City Centre based establishment. You will take ownership of local business development, driving revenue growth across private dining, group bookings, full venue hires, and key calendar events. You'll build meaningful relationships in the Edinburgh market, turning new connections into loyal guests and long-term business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Drive new business across corporate, leisure, and local markets through proactive outreach and relationship management
Maximise venue performance by supporting the reception team to convert inbound enquiries and optimise space utilisation
Conduct engaging venue show-arounds that convert interest into confirmed bookings
Create tailored proposals, manage follow-ups, and close sales opportunities with confidence
Build and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
Champion our upcoming loyalty programme, promoting engagement and membership
Maintain CRM accuracy and ensure a healthy sales pipeline
Analyse pre-booked sales trends, identify gaps, and develop action plans to exceed revenue targets
Collaborate closely with the Business Manager on strategy, performance reviews, and reporting
Provide weekly sales updates and insightSkills & Experience:
2+ years' experience in a sales leadership or business development role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
Proven track record of delivering successful proactive and reactive sales campaigns
Commercially astute, results-driven, and entrepreneurial in spirit
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident working both independently and as part of a dynamic team
Exceptional communicator and relationship builder
Well-connected with an established local network in Edinburgh
