I am looking for a high-performing, results-driven Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing professional services firm on a temporary basis, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
This is a hands-on, target-focused role for someone who can hit the ground running, leverage their network, and deliver new leads, meetings, and opportunities within the first 4 weeks. The successful candidate will be integral to the business’s growth and will work closely with senior leadership to shape the go-to-market strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
Generate new business opportunities through your own contacts, networking, and research.
Convert leads into meetings and potential contracts within the first month.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pitches.
Collaborate with internal teams to support client acquisition strategies.
Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and sales forecasts.
Contribute to the development of sales strategy and action plans.
About You:
Proven business development experience, ideally in professional services, finance, or consultancy.
A strong “black book” of contacts and the ability to leverage your network immediately.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Results-driven with a track record of generating leads and closing deals quickly.
Highly organised with a clear plan of action and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Able to start immediately and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
