Overview
This position focuses on managing existing accounts while developing new business opportunities across a broad client base. Success will rely on strong communication, proactive customer engagement, and the ability to negotiate effectively. The role reports into depot and senior leadership and offers clear opportunities for progression.

• Main contractors
• Civils contractors
• Industrial and commercial roofing contractors
• Structures contractors (RC, steel, timber)
• FM companies
• Scaffolding contractors
• Industrial / petro-chemical service providers
Candidate Profile
Previous experience with this specific product range is not essential, as full training will be provided. However, experience selling or hiring to the client types listed above—combined with construction industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales—is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify new selling opportunities and assess customer needs
• Generate new business through cold calling, networking and social media
• Arrange and attend meetings with prospective and existing clients
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services
• Work closely with the wider sales team to understand targets and support performance improvements
• Produce regular sales and financial reports
• Ensure stock availability for demonstrations and customer requirements
• Represent the company at exhibitions and industry events
• Negotiate and close agreements, handling objections and issues professionally
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall team performance
• Gather and share customer feedback with internal departments
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• CRM experience is an advantage
• Strong understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques
• Fast learner with a strong passion for sales
• Self-motivated, target-driven and commercially focused
• Confident in delivering presentations
