Business Development Manager

Location: Near Peterborough

Salary: £50,000 basic + uncapped commission

OTE: £65-£75k

Zest4Talent are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious, fast-growing fintech organisation looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join a newly established sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a business at a key stage of growth, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving new business and have genuine opportunities to progress into senior commercial positions as the company expands.

The Role

This is a full-cycle, revenue-generating sales role from day one. You'll take ownership of the complete sales process, from prospecting and relationship building through to negotiation and closing business.

Working across sectors including financial advisers, corporates, charities and private clients, you'll manage your own pipeline with autonomy while receiving full training on products, systems and internal processes.

This role is suited to someone who already knows how to sell successfully and is ready to make an immediate commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage the full B2B sales cycle from initial contact through to closing new business.

  * Generate and develop your own pipeline through proactive business development.

  * Build relationships with a wide range of prospective clients.

  * Deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.

  * Negotiate commercial agreements and secure new business.

  * Accurately manage sales activity using CRM systems.

  * Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.

About You

We're looking for an experienced B2B sales professional with a proven history of winning new business. Industry background is far less important than your ability to demonstrate results.

You'll ideally have:

  * A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within a B2B environment.

  * Experience managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to close.

  * Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.

  * A resilient, self-motivated and ambitious approach.

  * The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

  * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  * £50,000 basic salary
