Autograph Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing commercial team.

We are looking for someone commercially driven, confident speaking with decision-makers and motivated by achieving results.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the company's continued growth by identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients, and converting opportunities into long-term business.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your own territory and develop your own approach to generating new business, while working closely with the wider team to deliver excellent service and maximise commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:

Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
	
Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
	
Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to closing deals.
	
Proactively generating leads through networking, prospecting, referrals and other sales activity.
	
Understanding customer requirements and presenting tailored solutions.
	
Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
	
Maintaining accurate records of sales activity and opportunities.
	
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

Previous experience in a Business Development, Sales, Account Management or commercially focused role.
	
A proven track record of generating and winning new business.
	
Confident and comfortable developing relationships with new and existing customers.
	
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
	
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
	
Commercially aware with a genuine drive to achieve results.
	
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
