Business Development Manager – Scotland

Industrial Weighing, Sensors and Data Acquisition, Heavy Plant, Waste and Recycling Equipment Salary £40,000 basic with uncapped OTE 55-65k plus

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and technically minded Business Development Manager to take full ownership of the Scotland territory and join a fast‑growing leader in industrial weighing systems, sensor technology and data‑driven solutions. Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Account Growth — Strengthen existing relationships and increase product penetration

  * 

    Client Re‑activation — Rebuild dormant accounts and convert them into revenue

Ideal Candidate

  * 

    Experience in technical sales within sensors, data acquisition, IT or software‑integrated hardware, weighbridges, plant machinery or waste‑handling equipment

  * 

    Strong understanding of how data, software and hardware combine to create modern industrial solutions

  * 

    Commercially sharp, resilient and proactive

  * 

    Confident communicator who builds trust quickly

  * 

    Thrives in an autonomous, field‑based role

Location

Scotland, central location preferred but not essential

Salary and Benefits

    £40,000 basic salary
