Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire and security systems, with a focus on new business sales. This role will involve promoting and selling CCTV, access control, intruder, and life safety systems, with a balance of 80% maintenance contracts and 20% projects. Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fire and security sector Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the successful delivery of projects Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and solutions to clients Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions Qualifications Proven experience in business development within the fire and security industry Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder, and life safety systems Demonstrated success in new business sales and account management Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A proactive and results-oriented mindset Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards is a plus Day-to-day Researching and identifying potential clients and opportunities Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations Collaborating with the technical team to design and propose solutions Developing tailored proposals and quotations Tracking sales activities and maintaining accurate records Attending industry events and networking opportunities SER-IN
