My client, a leader in thermoformed plastic solutions, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team and drive growth across key industries including automotive, aerospace, and leisure.
They specialise in high-quality, lightweight plastic components made through advanced vacuum forming and compression moulding. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with a solid technical understanding of manufacturing and materials.
What You’ll Do
* Develop New Business: Identify, approach, and win new customers across multiple sectors.
* Manage Key Accounts: Build strong, lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
* Understand Client Needs: Translate customer requirements into tailored, commercially viable solutions.
* Drive the Sales Process: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, technical quotes, and presentations.
* Collaborate Internally: Work closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure feasibility and delivery alignment.
* Monitor Market Trends: Stay informed of competitor activity and emerging opportunities to shape our sales strategy.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in plastics, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
* Solid knowledge of thermoforming, vacuum forming, or compression moulding processes.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and close deals.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specs.
