Job Description

Are you an experienced, strategic thinker with a passion for education, business growth, and stakeholder engagement? Integrity Education Solutions are supporting a forward-thinking care and education provider with their search for a Business Development Manager, working at the heart of a collaborative and ambitious team. As the Business Development Manager, you will be home-based with regular travel to sites across the UK. You will play a pivotal role in driving occupancy across a national portfolio of education services. Reporting to the Group Head of Business Development, you will lead public relations initiatives and serve as the primary contact for operational, financial, and commissioning teams, helping to shape and market both existing and new education services in response to commissioner demand. This is a key role that blends commercial acumen, marketing flair, and strategic partnership-building. The successful candidate will champion the company’s values and work to elevate the organisation’s profile among commissioners, carers, and professional networks. Key Responsibilities: * Lead development and promotion of education services aligned to strategic goals and commissioning needs. * Maximise occupancy across educational sites through proactive engagement with principals and school/college teams. * Support and mentor referral leads across education establishments to achieve KPI targets. * Develop relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and potential purchasers. * Actively manage referrals, site visits, and follow-ups with a commercial yet compassionate approach. * Oversee vacancy tracking and referral pipelines, using data to inform strategy and improve outcomes. * Assist in bid writing, tender selection, and proposal submissions with input from cross-functional teams. * Liaise with finance teams to ensure fees are agreed before placement and support financial negotiations where needed. * Deliver regular board-level reports outlining potential developments and strategic opportunities. * Represent the organisation at conferences, exhibitions, and sector events. * Ensure service remodelling aligns with future needs and stakeholder expectations. * Collaborate with marketing teams to support campaigns, branding, and communications. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will bring: * Proven experience in business development within the education, care, or health sectors. * Experience as a senior leader in SEND school settings is advantageous * Strong understanding of local authority commissioning processes and placement pathways. * Exceptional stakeholder management skills and commercial awareness. * Experience in driving service occupancy and developing strategic service offers. * A confident, professional manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to travel nationally as required.
