Business Development Manager Hybrid / Field based Head office - Warrington Monday - Friday Salary - Depending on experience + Uncapped OTE Company Car Company Overview Founded in 2022, our client is a fast-growing specialist same-day dispatch company based in Warrington, offering flexible delivery solutions from small vans to HGVs. Their mission is to deliver on speed, reliability, and exceptional customer service across the UK. With a passionate and agile team, they are on a strong growth trajectory and are now looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join us and help take the business to the next level. Role Overview As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities while nurturing key relationships with existing clients. You’ll split your time between field sales (meeting clients and prospects) and working from our Warrington office, supporting a growing team and reporting directly to the company directors. Key Responsibilities * Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the North West and nationally * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their transport needs * Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to prospective clients * Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery * Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings * Maintain accurate records of sales activity via CRM systems * Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs * Provide market feedback to shape service development and growth strategy Requirements * Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the transport, logistics or courier industry * Solid understanding of same-day delivery services and transport operations (from small van to HGV) * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills * Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a results-driven mindset * Comfortable working both independently in the field and collaboratively in an office setting * Full UK driving licence What We Offer * Competitive base salary with uncapped commission * Company car and fuel allowance * Hybrid working: office-based in Warrington with travel across client sites * Opportunity to join a young, ambitious company at an exciting stage of growth * Autonomy and genuine input into company direction and client strategy * Supportive and entrepreneurial team culture
