Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 Basic + Unlimited Commission (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and approach new clients within freight forwarding and supply chain sectors.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships by understanding client needs and offering bespoke logistics solutions.

Achieve sales targets through active prospecting, networking, and consultative selling.

Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and service excellence.
*
Keep updated on market trends and competitor activity to spot new opportunities.
*
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts professionally.

Manage sales pipeline and maintain accurate records via CRM systems.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Proven B2B sales or business development experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related sectors such as manufacturing, wholesale distribution, import/export, or transport services.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build rapport at all organisational levels.
*
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
*
Full UK driving licence preferred.
