Objectives and Introduction to the job role You will be responsible to generate leads for new business from both new and existing customers. Expect to be on the phone all day and making 100+ dials! The role offers progression opportunities for the right candidate to become a Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager Main duties & responsibilities The following duties and responsibilities will apply to the role. Primary Role - Out-Bound Sales: *    Pro-active telesales and relentless forensic follow-up. *    Strategic New Business Development based on specific campaign criteria. *    Maximise revenue from existing customers by cross-selling additional products/services to increase commitment and annual spend. *    Follow up leads from field engineers for eg system upgrades, referrals etc and convert into quotable opportunities for the estimating team. Secondary Role - In-Bound Sales: *    Support the Customer Service Manager as directed, providing excellent customer experience across all in-bound channels. *    First-line phone answering for sales enquiries. *    Sales email inbox, to ensure all emails are dealt with in a timely manner. *    Respond to live-chat enquiries received via the website. *    Assist with 'fast-non project quotes' including FRA's, Training, Planned Maintenance, Hire and Product Sales. Additional Sales Team Support: *    Ensure all new enquiries are entered onto the CRM system and initial tasks are created and delegated to other team members. *    Provide support with any sales administrative tasks requested by the Sales Manager, for example supporting the strategic sales team with their tasks. *    Any other task as directed by management About You Whilst ongoing training, personal development, and preparedness to always be learning is key, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following: *    Demonstrable track record of phone-based selling in a team environment. *    Experience in a demanding and high-output role, e.g. achieving 100 dials a day or 30 Conversations. *    Account management experience would also be beneficial. *    Experience in analysing customer spend data and CRM information to identify sales opportunities.
