To support the next phase of their strategic growth, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand their consultancy and project management offering within the UK and selected international markets.
The Role
This is a senior-level position focused on developing new client relationships and expanding existing partnerships. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s business development strategy and driving growth in line with corporate objectives.
The role offers genuine autonomy and the opportunity to influence at a high level within a respected and dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, engage and convert new business opportunities across target sectors (including energy, chemicals, power generation, life sciences and infrastructure)
*
Manage and grow key client accounts through a consultative, solutions-led approach
*
Lead on the preparation of tailored proposals, bid documents and presentations
*
Represent the business at industry events, networking forums and client meetings
*
Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure alignment with client requirements
*
Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system, track pipeline activity and contribute to sales forecasting and strategic planning
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:

A strong track record in business development or client-facing roles within engineering, technical consultancy, project delivery, or similar service-led sectors
*
Knowledge of capital project environments, project lifecycle services, or consultancy frameworks
*
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
*
A proactive and results-driven mindset with the ability to manage opportunities from identification through to close
*
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-makers
