Job Description

SF Recruitment have partnered with a global organisation who are looking to recruit a Business Development/Account Manager to focus on new business, and retaining current, in Ireland. An engineering background would be advantageous but not a necessity. Salary: €60,000-€65,000 Working hours: full time remote, occasional visits to Dublin office, and travel to visit clients The key expectation of the account manager/BDM is to apply a 'sales hunter' mentality that helps drive consistent and significant year on year sales growth. This will be achieved by identifying and developing new customers within both traditional and developing secular trend markets as well as converting competitor business in existing customers. Responsibilities will include: 1. To continuously hunt for new business opportunities which significantly increases market share across their area of responsibility. 2. To develop senior level relationships within all key influencers and decision makers. 3. To hold regular face to face business development meetings with key influencers and decision makers. 4. To ensure a healthy project pipeline is established and maintained at not less than 130% of area revenue. 5. The successful development and execution of the 5-year growth plan. 6. To escalate any issues that may represent a risk to current business or new projects. Key Accountabilities 1. Exceed the annual sales plan. 2. To prospect, identify and develop new customers and markets. 3. To increase market share within existing customers. 4. To have strong relationships with all senior stakeholders within their area of responsibility. 5. To ensure an appropriate level of senior level support is involved with any issues that represent a threat to existing business or developing projects
