They are now looking for an ambitious and strategic Business Development Manager to join our UK commercial team—someone with a passion for growth, innovation, and building lasting relationships across the drinks sector.
The Role: Unlocking New Opportunities
As Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind new business growth across all drinks industry segments—from premium spirits and wines to emerging beverage trends. Your mission will be to:
* Identify and target untapped or underdeveloped markets and potential customers
* Engage and build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across brands, producers, and bottlers
* Generate, qualify, and convert leads into long-term business opportunities
* Manage and deliver sales targets, collaborating closely with the Key Account team to ensure seamless handover and growth
* Report insights, progress, and forecasts to the UK Sales Director and contribute to strategic planning
Who You Are:
* A proven sales hunter with a strong track record in B2B business development, ideally in the drinks, packaging, or FMCG sector
* Strategic and commercially savvy, with the ability to spot trends and opportunities ahead of the curve
* Confident working independently across a wide region (Central/North England) while also being a collaborative team player
* A natural relationship builder who can influence and inspire at all levels
* Results-driven, resilient, and ready to make an impact in a high-profile growth role
