BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – TRADES/LABOUR SUPPLY
LONDON & HOME COUNTIES
SALARY – EXCELLENT BASIC DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE PLUS GENEROUS COMMISSION PACKAGE, CAR, LAPTOP, PHONE ETC.
A top construction agency that have had great success and continuous growth providing labour and trades to construction, rail and infrastructure industries on a temporary, contract and permanent basis are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.
If the thought of sitting behind a desk all day gives you itchy feet, this could be the job for you as you’ll be required to spend a large amount of time out visiting construction sites selling the services of labour hire, managing your own diary and attending networking events. You'll usually work office hours, Monday to Friday but due to the nature of the role and industry there will be times you will have to attend social functions/networking events etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth of new and existing business through high energy sales and cold-calling, as well as functional planning and good time management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* You will be required to book your own appointments and plan your day to gain maximum output.
* One to two days per week will possibly be spent in the office planning your diary and working closely with the Directors of the business.
* You will work towards revenue sales targets in a fast-paced business development environment.
EXPERIENCE
* You will ideally have previous experience of field sales and have the ability to self-manage. In this role you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of this growing business.
* You MUST demonstrate stability and the hunger to succeed.
