Business Development Manager – Waste Management (Construction & Demolition)
Manchester | £40,000 Basic | OTE £60k+ uncapped | Company Car/Allowance
Looking for a sales role where you can earn big, build long-term relationships, and play a part in driving sustainability? We’re representing a fast-growing waste management provider that’s shaking up the construction and demolition sector – and they’re on the hunt for a hungry, ambitious Business Development Manager to join their team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Win new business through site visits, networking, and targeted outreach
* Upsell and grow existing customer accounts with tailored recycling & waste solutions
* Own your territory – prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals
* Showcase services at events and on-site to decision-makers across construction, logistics, and related sectors
* Stay ahead of the competition by tracking market activity and spotting opportunities
* Cross-sell additional services like hazardous waste, shredding, and national contracts
What We’re Looking For
* Proven success in B2B field sales – waste or service contracts experience a bonus
* A closer’s mentality – driven, competitive, and money-motivated
* Confident communicator who can build strong client relationships
* Commercially sharp with the resilience to smash targets
* Full UK driving licence
