📍 Epping or surrounding areas (Home & Field Based)
💷 £30,000 – £50,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission
Are you a driven Business Development Manager with experience in roofing, solar, or solar PV? Do you combine technical expertise with exceptional sales skills? If so, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically knowledgeable Business Development Manager to drive growth within the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. This role is a mix of home-based work and field-based client visits across the region.
You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and providing expert technical advice on solar PV and roofing solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial and residential clients

Conduct site surveys and provide tailored solar PV and roofing solutions
*
Deliver technical presentations and proposals to decision-makers
*
Negotiate and close high-value deals with strong margin awareness
*
Build long-lasting client relationships to maximise repeat and referral business
*
Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and legislation
About You
*
Proven track record in Business Development / Sales
*
Experience in solar PV, roofing, or renewable energy is essential
*
Strong technical knowledge of solar systems (design, installation, ROI)
*
Excellent negotiation and closing skills with consultative approach
*
Self-motivated, ambitious, and comfortable working independently
*
Full UK driving licence
