About the Role
Our client, a leader in advanced condition monitoring technologies, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong engineering background who has successfully transitioned into technical sales. While the role begins as a Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress into an Area Manager position within the North East region, taking on broader leadership and regional responsibilities as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and convert new business opportunities within industrial sectors
*
Deliver tailored technical solutions and consultative support to clients
*
Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers
*
Lead client meetings and site visits, understanding engineering needs
*
Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to close deals
*
Transition into an Area Manager role in the North East, managing client relationships and supporting regional growth
What We’re Looking For

Proven success in technical B2B sales, ideally in engineering or industrial environments
*
Mechanical or electromechanical engineering background (qualification or hands-on experience essential)
*
Strong commercial awareness and ability to present complex solutions clearly
*
Confident communicator with a relationship-building mindset
*
Comfortable with national travel and client-facing work
*
Ambition to grow into a regional management role
Preferred Experience

Experience with condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or related industrial solutions

Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
