About The Company They are a specialist office design and fit out company who deliver turnkey CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects. With a turnover exceeding £80 million, they have established a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and creativity in transforming workspaces. The Role They are seeking a driven Business Development Manager / Networker to help grow their client base and maintain strong relationships within the commercial construction and fit-out industry. This role is all about building rapport, making connections, and spotting opportunities to bring in new projects. You will work closely with the wider team to develop opportunities with: * Client-side project managers * Client-Side Quantity Surveyors * Direct clients looking for workplace transformation The role involves travelling to meetings, networking events, and client sites. Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry professionals and decision makers. * Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities. * Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings. * Work collaboratively with the design and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagement. * Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client communications. * Support in the preparation and delivery of client pitches and presentations. * Nurture long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals. Requirements We’re looking for someone who is as comfortable sparking up conversations with new contacts as they are nurturing long-standing relationships. You need to be confident, approachable, and commercially astute, with the drive to spot and convert opportunities. Skills & Experience * Proven experience in business development or client relationship management. * Proven experience working for a Turnkey Contractor. * Strong relationships with end users, client-side project managers and client-side quantity surveyors. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
