Job Description

As an Industry specific Business Development Manager you’ll proactively seek out opportunities with customers in the industrial sector, across the likes of OIL and GAS, CHEMICALS, WATER, MANUFACTURING, NUCLEAR and POWER STATIONS to deliver their solutions. You will be developing and maintaining high-level relationships with them to gather information about their sites and their current and future needs, delivering effective presentations to new and existing customers and/or sector influencers. And through high-level surveys, you’ll address clients’ challenges and present the right solution. Key relationships will be with the likes of Technical Engineers involved in Operations onsite and Site Operations & HSEQ Managers for example. You will uncover the high-level needs of their industrial clients through timely surveying. Work actively to provide suitable solutions for the customer based on their products. Work collaboratively with the internal BDM team for new leads and opportunities. Complete detailed reporting for quoting, picking and installation by the supporting teams. Proactively outreach to new customers / sites of interest via LinkedIn/HubSpot. Attend events, trade shows and networking events that cater to our target audience. Retain high level relationships with customers and sites. Build presentations and proposals to highlight their offerings. Research other opportunities geographically to maximise travel Understand where their products and solutions bring value vs not taking on undue risk during projects proposed. Desired experience to succeed in this role will be Degree in an Industry related field; /Oil/Gas/Chemical/Manufacturing/Nuclear/Water (E) Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering (D 3 years sales experience - previous experience supplying the industry (E) Experience with extraction and ventilation systems (D) P601 (D) Basic occupation hygiene awareness (D) Microsoft Office experienced (E) CRM (E) HubSpot (D) Your core competencies will be Relationship Building, Excellent Communication Skills, Adaptable, persistent and tenacious, Honest and accountable, Ability to work to deadlines/SLA
