We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join a growing organisation that partners with NHS Trusts nationwide to deliver innovative solutions and services that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ultimately enhance patient care.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Commercial to lead on business development activities and build strong relationships with both suppliers and healthcare partners. You will play a key role in hunting out new revenue streams within existing customers, identifying where there are unmet opportunities or areas where you can provide an enhance service offering. This role would suite a new business developer with a hunter mentality; but also a strategic relationship builder and somebody who has a track-record of success networking within an existing customer base to build revenue streams.
What you’ll be doing:
* Network within existing NHS clients to identify pain-points and unmet needs
* Explore leads to identify workable solutions to build new revenue streams and maximise opportunities within existing departments
* Support with the tender processes where appropriate
* Help shape a compelling proposals and innovative commercial models that provide cost : benefit solutions to a customers needs
* Work with suppliers to identify win : win opportunities
* Analysing market trends to identify innovations, gaps and opportunities
What we’re looking for:
* Proven track-record selling to the NHS (secondary care mainly)
* Experience working within an existing account framework to win new business opportunities
* Commercially aware, confident communicator
* Accomplished presenter with strong interpersonal skills
* Good attention to details, driven by success and goal orientated
What’s on offer:
* Base salary of £35,000 - £40,000

This is a field-based role covering the UK
You’ll be travelling to customer sites 3-4 days per week and whilst this could be UK wide, the majority of their business will be in the Midlands and South UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven nhs sales background who is looking at a slightly different commercial direction away from a pure product sell.
