Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Chelmsford Salary: £25,500 basic | OTE £50,000+ Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm Overview: We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a growing automotive team. About the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving new business across the automotive sector. You’ll be proactive in identifying opportunities, generating your own leads, and building long-term relationships with clients. This Business Development Manager position requires resilience, initiative, and the confidence to work independently while contributing to wider business goals. Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities: Identify, contact, and convert new business opportunities within the automotive sector. Develop strong B2B relationships and maintain regular communication with clients. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Represent the brand professionally while promoting our services and solutions. Work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.About You: We’re seeking a Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You’ll need to be self-motivated, confident, and able to think commercially. Ideal experience includes: Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role. Automotive industry background – ideally with commercial vehicles (preferred but not essential). Business-to-business sales experience. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
