Business Development Manager | Hybrid Are you an ambitious and self-motivated sales professional looking for your next challenge? A well-established manufacturer of high-quality timber fire and security door-sets is seeking a talented Business Development Manager to drive sales and growth from Leicester to the Scottish Boarder. The Role: Manage and develop a portfolio of key contacts within housing associations, local authorities, and their contractor networks. Drive new business by converting leads into sales using a structured, proactive approach. Present and promote the company's products and services to potential clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to maximise business opportunities. Identify, assess, and validate sales opportunities to ensure alignment with the company's offerings. Represent the company on relevant procurement frameworks and portals. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, tenders, and quotations. Provide on-site support and technical expertise to customers as required. Maintain accurate records of sales activity and opportunities. Ideal Candidates will … Have a proven track record of success in sales within the doors, housing, local authority or construction sectors. Is comfortable managing tenders, proposals and framework agreements. Has experience working with technical construction products. Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. Is a natural networker with the tenacity to engage key decision-makers. Builds strong, trusted relationships with clients and becomes their go-to advisor. Has a strong desire to learn about the company's products and solutions. Is willing to travel extensively across the target geography. Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets in a business development role.
