Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced New Business Development Manager to join our team and lead growth initiatives within the Food Service Sector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for identifying new opportunities. Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate new business and meet set sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Conduct cold calling, lead generation, and market research
Arrange client meetings via phone, email, and CRM tools
Provide quotations and manage the full sales process
Analyse customer data, spending patterns, and margins
Offer after-sales support and account management
Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer serviceRequirements:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Knowledge of the Scottish food service market is highly beneficial
