Job: Business Development Manager (Forklift & Plant Hire)
Location: Covering Midlands Region
Money: £50,000 - £60,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + Company Vehicle
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable company within the Forklift and Plant Hire industry, seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to cover the Midlands region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a business that values customer relationships, offers autonomy in the role, and provides uncapped earning potential.
The Role
Develop and manage new business opportunities across the Midlands within the forklift and plant hire markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Identify and target new sectors, customers, and revenue streams.
Prepare and present tailored proposals to meet customer requirements.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage your own diary, with flexibility and autonomy to achieve sales targets.
The Candidate
Proven background in business development or sales within the materials handling, plant hire, or equipment hire industries.
Strong understanding of forklifts, telehandlers, or general plant equipment.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and winning new business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Full UK driving licence is essential.The Package
Basic Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)
Uncapped Bonus Scheme
