ROLE: Business Development Manager / Project Manager – Fire Alarm Systems
As Business development Manager with experience in Project Management you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion. The role will involve conducting site surveys, producing designs in accordance with BS5839 standards, and managing projects of varying sizes to meet agreed timescales, budgets and quality expectations. You will work closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams, providing technical advice and ensuring all projects comply with industry regulations and health and safety requirements.
EXPERIENCE: Business Development Manager / Project Manager – Fire Alarm Systems
You must have proven experience in both business development and project management within the fire alarm or related fire safety industry, along with a strong working knowledge of BS5839 for fire alarm system design and installation. It is essential that you already have an active customer base and the ability to leverage these relationships to generate immediate business opportunities. You should be confident managing projects from small to large scale and able to produce compliant designs and quotations. A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Experience with BS 5266 for emergency lighting and knowledge of AOV (Automatic Opening Ventilation) systems would be advantageous, along with relevant industry qualifications such as FIA or NICEIC.
