Job Scope:
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our client's team. Our client works with a care provider that delivers tailored complex care and support solutions across the UK. As a Business Development Specialist, you will engage with NHS and Local Authority Commissioners, securing business through calls, online meetings, and regular visits within the designated region, while passing larger care packages to the onboarding team.
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and maintaining database integrity through consistent client engagement. You will generate quality appointments, progress leads, close smaller care packages remotely, and conduct service reviews to enhance client satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, you must be a hunter, self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient, with a strong understanding of the healthcare sector, particularly in relation to Local Authorities and commissioners. You will collaborate with the RM/GM and your own teams, ensuring clear communication, seamless handovers, and accurate reporting to drive growth effectively.
