We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Improvement Manager to join a growing construction and built environment business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in business improvement, process optimisation and change management to play a key role in improving operational performance across the organisation.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will help translate strategic priorities into practical improvement initiatives, working with teams across the business to identify opportunities, implement change and deliver measurable operational, customer and financial benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the identification, development and delivery of business improvement initiatives aligned with wider business strategy and priorities.
* Analyse end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas of underperformance.
* Work with key stakeholders to identify root causes and develop practical improvements using recognised continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, process simplification and standardisation.
* Define and track success measures for improvement initiatives, including KPIs, reporting and performance monitoring.
* Support the implementation of new processes, systems and ways of working, ensuring changes are successfully adopted and embedded.
* Work collaboratively with functional leaders and operational teams to drive sustainable improvements.
* Analyse internal and external feedback, including customer insight, and translate this into actionable improvement initiatives.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the business by encouraging teams to identify opportunities, share best practice and drive positive change.
* Provide regular updates on progress, risks, outcomes and benefits to senior stakeholders.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in business improvement, continuous improvement, process optimisation or change management.
* Experience of Lean Six Sigma
* Experience working within construction, fit out, property or the wider built environment sector.
* A good understanding of operational delivery environments.
* Experience using KPIs and performance measures to identify and deliver improvements.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, process mapping, standardisation or simplification.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively with teams at all levels of an organisation.
* A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a strong focus on delivering results.
