Job Description

Job Title: Business & Computing Teacher (KS3–KS5) Location: Dartford area, Kent Key Stages: KS3–KS5 (including GCSE Business & Computer Science or ICT; A-level/IB/technical options) Start Date: September 2025 (full‑time, permanent; temp‑to‑perm options offered) Role Overview We’re recruiting a versatile and dynamic Business & Computing Teacher who can inspire students across Business studies and Computing or ICT. You will teach a range of programs including GCSE, T Levels, BTECs or A-level Business at KS4/5, and Computer Science or ICT at KS3–5. Some roles may also involve IB curricula delivery depending on trust. You’ll be supported in modern facilities by dedicated technicians and a collaborative leadership team. Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs eager to grow. Responsibilities * Teach engaging lessons across Business Studies and Computing/ICT at KS3–5 * Develop and deliver curriculum for GCSE Business, A-level/IB/technical Business pathways and Computing qualifications * Monitor student progress, differentiate effectively, and foster digital literacy and enterprise skills * Collaborate with colleagues across subjects and contribute to career-related program planning (e.g. T Levels) * Participate in enrichment such as business clubs, coding societies, or industry-linked events Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; Early Career Teachers (ECTs) welcome to apply * Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies plus Computing or ICT * Experience or training in KS3–KS5 teaching; willingness to deliver vocational or technical qualifications * Proactive classroom presence, effective behavior management, and a passion for digital/enterprise education
