Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30/4:30pm
Business Teacher Specification
Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Worcestershire. This is a full-time, long-term position available for an immediate start.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Business lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, supporting students as they prepare for GCSE and A-Level/Level 3 qualifications. You will inspire learners to understand the modern business world, develop strong analytical skills, and achieve their best academically.
This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Business Studies and keen to contribute to a forward-thinking department that values innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence.
Person Specification & Requirements
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable or essential depending on school preference)
Strong subject knowledge, including current business theory and real-world application
Effective classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to support diverse learners
Commitment to promoting ambition, inclusivity, and independent learning
Level 1 Safeguarding Training (training can be provided)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
