Position: Business Studies Teacher Location: Near Shirley, Southampton Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with Potential for a Permanent Role) Pay Range: £160 - £240 per day (depending on experience) Working Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Overview: An excellent secondary school located near Shirley, Southampton is seeking a Business Studies Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, long-term position offers the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities in developing their understanding of the business world and preparing them for future academic and career pathways. Key Responsibilities: Teach Business Studies to students in KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum. Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking. Support and challenge students of all abilities to achieve their best outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and share best practice. Take part in school life, including extracurricular activities, enrichment opportunities, and events.
