Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who not only enjoys teaching Business Studies at KS3-KS5 but also has the ambition to take on extra responsibility within the department.
For experienced candidates with strong subject knowledge and leadership potential, there is the opportunity to step into a Head of Department role.
The school is looking to appoint the right person ahead of December 2025.
What You'll Do
Teach engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons across KS3-KS5
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment within the subject area
Support students in achieving excellent results and developing key business and employability skills
For experienced candidates: lead the department, drive standards, and mentor colleagues
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Business-related degree
Proven experience teaching Business Studies up to KS5
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students
A track record of raising attainment and delivering high-quality lessons
Ambition - with the potential to take on extra responsibility or step into Head of Department
