Business Analyst - SFIA Level 4 (Consultant)
Location: Newcastle (with occasional travel)
Rate: £375 per day
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31 January 2026
Clearance Required: BPSS
Expenses: Covered for travel outside Newcastle
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join a government sector programme. This is a contract opportunity for a skilled consultant with a strong background in public sector delivery and experience working on large, complex programmes.
Key Details:
The project is outcomes-based, with no fixed travel requirements. However, attendance at workshops and sprint ceremonies will be required a couple of times per month.
The Statement of Work (SOW) is pending, but we are proactively identifying suitable candidates.Key Requirements:
Demonstrates experience in government or public sector environments
Strong understanding of public sector frameworks, governance, and compliance
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence interacting across all levels from senior executives to delivery teams and end users
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workshop facilitation
