Job Description

Quality cuts, accurate preparation and orders ready for dispatch on time – your skills will directly influence the standards customers receive every day. As a Butcher, you’ll work with quality meat across multiple species, preparing everything from bespoke steaks and joints to precisely portioned cuts for customers across the hospitality sector.
 
Working within a well-equipped production environment, you’ll handle beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game while maintaining high standards of consistency, hygiene and food safety. It’s an opportunity to put your knife skills to work in a focused night operation where quality matters.

Your responsibilities as Butcher 

Break down, debone, trim and portion beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game to specification
Prepare bespoke steaks, joints and specialist cuts while maintaining consistent quality
Accurately weigh, pack and label products ready for customer orders
Follow HACCP procedures and maintain high food hygiene and safety standards
Operate equipment including vacuum packers, slicers, bandsaws and wrapping machinery safely
Work closely with picking and dispatch teams to support accurate, on-time order fulfilment 
What we’re looking for in a Butcher 

Proven multi-species meat preparation and portioning experience
Strong knife skills, including deboning, trimming and producing bespoke cuts
Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, food safety and allergen controls
Experience working accurately to customer specifications in a production or larder environment
Experience safely operating relevant meat preparation and packing equipment 
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00pm–4:00am
