Buyer – Electronics Manufacturing | Windsor, Berkshire
Location: Windsor, Berkshire
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–13:00 (37 hours/week)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: up to £34,000 depending on experience
On-site role with free parking
A well-established and growing electronics manufacturer in Windsor is seeking a proactive and detail oriented Buyer to join their friendly and experienced purchasing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative, family feel environment where innovation and quality are at the heart of everything they do.
The role:
* Procuring electronic components and materials in line with customer demand
* Managing supplier relationships, sourcing new vendors, and negotiating pricing
* Ensuring timely delivery of parts and resolving any supply or quality issues
* Maintaining accurate records using an MRP system (training provided)
* Collaborating closely with Account Managers, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain

* Experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials buying
* Background in electronics, component distribution, or manufacturing (e.g., PCB, capacitors, resistors)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex supplier networks
* Confident using MRP/ERP systems and Excel
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a passion for problem-solving
