Buyer - Hampshire - £30k
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading electronics design and manufacturing business. They are looking for a proactive Buyer to join their purchasing team and play a vital role in cost estimating and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates from technical drawings and specifications
*
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to gather essential information
*
Raise purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to align with production plans
*
Support supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms
*
Monitor supply chain performance and proactively manage shortages
Key Skills Required:

Experience in a similar purchasing/procurement or estimating role
*
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
*
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
*
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MRP systems
The salary will be up to £30k depending on previous experience with great company benefits.
