Buyer - Food | Salary: £50,000 + package | Location: West Midlands (Hybrid Working)
We're looking for a talented Buyer to join a leading UK retailer and help shape their FMCG ranges. This is an exciting role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, value-driven retail environment.
Key responsibilities:
Managing your own product category within food
Working closely with suppliers to source and negotiate the best products
Ensuring availability, value, and quality across ranges
Supporting new product launches and promotional activity
Analysing data to inform commercial decisions
About you:
Proven experience as a Buyer (or strong Assistant Buyer ready for the next step)
Experience in food categories (e.g. chilled, sandwiches, salad etc.)
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Commercially driven, with an eye for trends and value
This is a hybrid role based in the West Midlands, with a competitive salary and package plus excellent career development opportunities.
