Buyer – Construction Sector
Based on the outskirts of Burton-on-Trent
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our clients growing team in the construction sector, with a focus on environmentally driven projects. You will be responsible for sourcing materials and services to ensure projects keep moving — sustainably, efficiently and on budget.
What you will be doing:
* Purchasing materials, tools, plant hire and subcontracted services for projects across the UK
* Working closely with site and project teams to ensure timely deliveries
* Building strong relationships with ethical and sustainable suppliers
* Ensuring compliance with environmental and H&S standards
What we are looking for:
* Procurement experience in construction
* Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
* Strong knowledge of sustainable materials and procurement practices
* Organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple priorities
