Job Title: Buyer (Part-Time)
Hours: 20 hours per week - flexible to work around hours that suit you!
£35,000 - £40,000 - Pro Rota
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Buyer to join and support our growing client based near Toddington on a permenant basis. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for purchasing materials and components, managing supplier relationships, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth freight handling for both domestic and international orders.
Key Responsibilities:

Place and track purchase orders with approved suppliers
*
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order issues
*
Coordinate shipping and freight arrangements, including documentation
*
Communicate with freight forwarders and manage import/export processes
*
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
*
Support the wider operations and administration team as required
Requirements:
*
Previous experience in a purchasing/buyer role
*
Strong administrative and organsational skills
*
Familiarity with freight and shipping documentation
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant procurement systems
*
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
*
Experience in manufacturing or lighting industry
