The Buyer / Planner role within the Procurement & Supply Chain department requires expertise in managing purchasing and planning processes for an industrial / manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient coordination of materials and resources to meet production demands in Bromborough.

Description
Manage procurement and planning activities to support production operations effectively.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
Maintain accurate inventory records and optimise stock levels.
Utilise Navision (preferred), SAP, or Oracle systems for efficient planning and purchasing processes.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with production schedules.
Prepare and analyse reports to improve procurement and planning efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Profile
A successful Buyer / Planner should have:
Experience in procurement and supply chain within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in using Navision (preferred), SAP, or Oracle systems.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Analytical skills to assess and improve procurement processes.
