My client, a medium sized house builder, are currently seeking a Buyer/ Senior Buyer to work out of their office in High Wycombe. The role is a 6-9 month maternity contract.
Their developments range from large family homes and luxury houses for growing families to city centre apartments. They are quality focused and are a trusted provider of quality homes in the region..
They are looking for a Materials Buyer to join their commercial team as soon as possible. The Materials Buyer will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for procuring a range of materials residential schemes. Previous experience in a similar role at a house builder is essential.
Experience:
* Track record working for a reputable housebuilder as a Materials Buyer
* Excellent procurement experience on residential schemes
* Strong commercial skills and awareness
* Good communication skills internally and externally
* Be a team player but also able to work using own initiative
* High level of computer literacy
* Good longevity with previous employers
