Pay Rate: £110 - £130 per Day
Contract: Full-time, long-term placement
Hours: 37 hours per week

Are you confident, organised, and looking to inspire young people in a classroom setting? We're seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join a mainstream secondary school in the DE73 area. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a rewarding role, supporting students and ensuring learning continues when teachers are absent.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise prepared lessons, maintaining focus and progress in the absence of the class teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy, promoting positive learning.
Communicate lesson content, homework, and expectations clearly to students.
Collect and return student work and provide feedback on behaviour and progress.
Support departments with administrative tasks when not covering lessons.
Assist with exam invigilation, educational visits, and supply staff orientation.Candidate Requirements
Minimum GCSEs (Maths & English) grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent.
Experience with secondary-aged pupils (11-16) desirable.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Patience, flexibility, and ability to build positive relationships.
Willingness to undertake further training (First Aid, HLTA standards desirable).Why Apply?
