Now Hiring: HGV C1 Trunk

Location: Huntingdon
 Salary: £45,427
 Contract Type: Permanent
 Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (no weekends)

About the role:
 We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced C1 Trunk Drivers to join our team. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of goods while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a HGV C1 vehicle in compliance with all road and safety regulations
Trunk and delivery of stock to distribution sites
Load and unload goods where required
Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Ensure accurate completion of delivery paperwork
Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
Requirements

You must have a UK driving Class 1 licence along with a valid driver’s CPC DQ card / valid drivers digital card
Previous commercial driving experience in a class 1 vehicle
Previous experience and understanding of using digital tachographs
Good people skills and some previous experience in a customer facing role
Understanding of EU Driving legislation and tachograph law
Desirable experience of using a PDA
Please note that for insurance purposes you should be aged 21 years or over.
Shifts:

Weekdays only no weekends
