Cabinet Maker / Senior Cabinet Maker

Full-time | Permanent

Are you a skilled Cabinet Maker who takes real pride in precision, materials, and finish? Do you enjoy working on high-quality, design-led furniture rather than repetitive production work? An established, forward-thinking furniture manufacturer is looking to add a talented maker to their workshop team.

The Role

You’ll be involved in the manufacture of high-quality furniture and cabinetry, working from detailed drawings and collaborating closely with designers and fellow makers to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manufacture furniture and cabinetry to exacting standards from technical drawings

  * Select, prepare, and work with a range of timber and sheet materials

  * Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and accurately

  * Carry out precise cutting, jointing, assembly, and finishing

  * Work closely with designers to deliver bespoke and custom pieces

  * Inspect completed work and carry out remedial adjustments where required

  * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

  * Contribute positively to a collaborative workshop culture

What We’re Looking For

  * Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Senior Maker

  * Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and hand tools

  * Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

  * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  * Good knowledge of timber types, materials, and finishes

  * Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

  * A strong work ethic and pride in your craft

  * Experience in bespoke or custom furniture is highly desirable
