Experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner – Didcot
We’re currently looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker or Bench Joiner to join a well-established company in Didcot, renowned for producing high-quality bespoke furniture. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy working in a collaborative workshop environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
About the Role:

Produce bespoke furniture and joinery pieces according to detailed design specifications.

Confidently work with a range of hardwoods and softwoods, applying the appropriate finishes and treatments.
*
Use various woodworking machines and hand tools with precision and care.
*
Work closely with the design team to bring unique furniture concepts to life.
*
Keep your workspace clean, safe, and well-organised, following all health and safety guidelines.

Conduct quality checks and carry out any necessary repairs to maintain high standards.

Play an active role in supporting a positive, team-oriented workshop environment.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or Cabinet Maker, ideally in a bespoke furniture setting.
*
Strong proficiency with woodworking tools and machinery.
*
A keen eye for detail and dedication to producing excellent work.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
*
Good problem-solving abilities and confidence working independently.
*
Knowledge of different timbers and their properties.
*
Reliable, hardworking, and able to manage time effectively.
*
A team player with strong communication skills.
*
Previous experience with custom or one-off projects is a plus.
