Cable Assembler
Swindon
£12.50 Per Hour
Our client, a reputable and growing company based in Swindon, is looking for an experienced Cable Assembler to join their dynamic team.
Cable Assembler Roles and Responsibilities:
* Assemble cables and wire harnesses to required specifications
* Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
* Use a variety of hand tools including crimpers, wire strippers, and soldering irons
* Perform soldering and crimping tasks to a high standard
* Carry out quality control inspections and ensure all products meet required standards
* Operate testing equipment to ensure functionality and compliance
* Maintain production targets and adhere to customer specifications
Cable Assembler Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in electronics or cable assembly is essential
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Confident with soldering and crimping techniques
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
