Contract Cable Jointer - Water Industry
📍 Location: Birmingham

A leading contractor in the UK water industry is seeking an experienced Cable Jointer to support ongoing infrastructure and maintenance projects in the Chester region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile utility contracts with a company known for its commitment to safety, quality, and innovation.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out jointing and termination of LV and HV cables (up to 11kV)
Working on water treatment sites, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure
Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and health & safety regulations
Collaborating with site teams and project managers to meet deadlines
✅ Requirements:
Recognised Cable Jointing qualifications (e.g., DNO authorisations or equivalent)
Proven experience in utility or industrial environments, ideally within the water sector
Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and permit systems
Full UK driving licence
CSCS/ECS card (preferred)
