Responsibilities
As a PCB and Cable Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring that all assemblies meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and cable harnesses according to technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Soldering components onto PCBs with precision and accuracy, adhering to industry standards.
Inspecting and testing completed assemblies to ensure functionality and compliance with quality standards.
Identifying and troubleshooting assembly issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
Documenting assembly processes and maintaining accurate records of completed work.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience in PCB assembly, cable assembly, or a related field.
Proficiency in soldering techniques, including through-hole and surface-mount technology (SMT).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Familiarity with electronic components and their functions.
Basic understanding of testing equipment and procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day as a PCB and Cable Assembler will involve:
Reviewing work orders and preparing materials for assembly.
Carefully assembling PCBs and cable harnesses, ensuring all components are correctly placed and secured.
Conducting quality checks and testing assemblies to verify performance.
Addressing any issues identified during testing and making necessary adjustments.
Communicating with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM
